Information Systems Security Smartronix has a stellar reputation as one of the leading information systems security providers within the Department of Defense (DoD) contractor community. As early as 1997, Smartronix was providing services to centralize the security management of a Department of Defense worldwide enterprise network. Under this initiative, Smartronix engineers designed the enterprise security architecture, consolidated the multiple points of presence (PoP) at each location throughout the world, integrated a single PoP with a state-of-the-art defense in depth architecture, and started providing security management of the remote PoPs from a centralized network operations center, practically unheard of at the time.
